My family attempted to sell our lot to them. The lot has a shared drive way, which was no secret and they provided assurances that this would not be an issue. The week of closing, they terminated the contract without justification and are bullying my mother to keep the earnest money with legal letters.
I would stay far away from a company that will engage in such unscrupulous and ugly tactics towards a widowed elderly seller. They clearly did not do their due diligence prior to the offer and option period and I would wonder how that would translate to their build quality.
