I would NEVER recommed this contractor. He requested cash upfront and guess what happened? Yep, half way through he quit answering calls and making excuses as to why he did not return my calls. All were because of medical reasons. HOWEVER, I found a review crom 2017. The company name was different but owner Andrew Schmit was the same. He did the same thing to this woman as he did to me. Half way through he disappeared from the job. Unable to get him to answer phone or text. When he did answer...calling from different number it was always a excuse about he had medical issues. This went on for over 3 months. My bathroom had been paid for in cash as he expected and required and I was left with an unfinished and unusable bathroom. Not to mention thousands of dollars stolen due to incomplete construction and thousands more dollars to find and pay another contractor to complete what was already paid for. Dont be fooled. Buildzoom should NOT promote scammers.
