Miquel got a license to be a general contractor. He seemed like a nice guy so I hired him to turn my garage into an ADU. He tore down my garage without my permission and was difficult to work with. He continually asked me to give him money prior to doing work, which is illegal in the state of California and couldn’t account for money I had given him. It has been a year and I still just have an empty slab and have had to fire him. I cannot recommend hiring him as a general contractor.
