    Minor repairs and electrical work

    This contractor's license #867094 has been expired; this contractor has been working under a new company's name LPV Construction, Inc. I signed a contract with him for some minor repairs and some electrical work and paid him $250 for deposit on 11/17/14; he never showed up to do the work and not yet returned my deposit after a few dozens of phone calls and text messages; he did return my calls and text messages and promised to return my deposit but he never did as of today 1/04/15. BuildZoom should put a big red flag on this contractor and let people know not to hire him. I just looked up LPV Construction Inc on the Constructors State License Board and this license is under suspension for lack of qualifier, and there was a complaint on Better Business Bureau that this contractor received a deposit of $1,100 from a customer in July 2014 but never showed up to do the work and never returned the deposit either, which was exactly what happened to me.

    This contractor did a poor job on my patio and pool deck; and was messy; he did not clean up the working area until a few days later; leaving his stuff and garbage bags on my lawn, and did not put my plants back as promised until I called him several times.
