They don't even deserve a one star. Worst company we have ever dealt with. Before making a big purchase, I advise doing your research with other qualified builders in the area. My house is a piece a crap and half put together. There was still blue tape present in the home the day we moved in. The warranty guys are liars and they half do things. They told my husband they were not fixing anything and because my husband told them they were full of crap, they then proceeded to file a false police report of the incident. A company that automatically assumes they are right but cares less about the customer. Judy Johnson’s response was “but we have to believe them”. What about your paying customer? You didn’t even try to call, you sent a certified letter! Piss poor customer service and communication!!!!! No one is ever on the same page. Once the loan goes through, they do not care one bit! This is how today's veterans are treated!! Second time I’ve posted this review, let’s see how long it stays up.

I would have given zero stars, however am not allowed. Grayhawk homes have a terrible reputation and I am here to back up that statement. I purchased a home from them and at closing Mrs. Erickson even apologized for the condition of the home and said "Grayhawk will make it right!". Mr. Erickson was invited to come and see the worst craftsmanship I have ever seen and he declined. He stated, "my expectations for a new house me were too high.". The whole homes interior needed refinished, to include sanding and painting. There are two open holes leading into the house located on both sides of the back patio that they still have not fixed. Finishing nightmare, please do not purchase from this crook.

We have had a few issues with this company after buying one of their spec homes in Bluffton, SC.
1. Hurricane Plywood Covering that were not cut to length which made prep for Dorian a bit of and adventure.
2. Finding out our countertops are not Granite as advertised in their Spec sheet which most of the Epoxy they used to glue back cracks now turning color. Pictures are not of seams for normal approximation of Stone edges as see in sink/stovetop areas.
3. Having our project Manager quit and only to be told by admin in South Carolina that he was let go and reasoning behind it was my concerns about the home including those of others "Thank you for the honest info Melissa Lee". Come to find out he left and was not fired. Administration did not inform owners in the South Carolina Area and many of us were left without help to resolve warranty issues. This was confirmed when I made a post on the Nextdoor app.
4. Lastly if you climb the ladder for help and are privileged enough to Speak to DavidErickson the president I encourage you to not waste your breath. He has no general care of concern for his clients and maybe it is because their company was acquired by a building company from Virginia with details noted on the web this occurred around November 2019.
5. They also switched out our lighting fixtures without informing us after we had signed our purchase agreement with no delay in our closing on the property. When Dave Erickson asked how I could Confirm this I told him my photos were time stamped and line up with purchase agreement paperwork "DUH"
Future Buyers Beware!!!!
