  Install hot water heater

  I contacted Mr. Gray at 8am regarding a water heater installation. He said he would get it done that same day and kept in touch with me throughout the day. By 5pm I had hot water. I would recommend his service.

  Appliance Installation

  $200

  Gray's Installation was dispatched to install a Dishwasher and Haul Away the old dishwasher. Service Window was between 2 pm and 6 pm.

  - Gray checked in with me at 1030 am on the day of the installation. Was very rude and demanding on the phone.
  - Never heard back from him until 6:45 pm when he called and told me he was a half hour away from my house. So he was over the install window by 45 minutes when he called and it would be another 30 minutes before he would arrive.
  - Upon arrival Gray was rude, and argumentative.
  - He basically spent his entire time at my house telling me what he could not do.
  - He failed to properly install the dishwasher.
  - He refused to haul away the old dishwasher which had been removed from the space where it had been installed to make way for the new dishwasher. It had been place outside.
  - As soon as he saw it he said - I am not taking it. The door of the dishwasher had been removed.
  -Claimed he would not take it because there could be snakes in it - which was an absolutely absurd statement as the dishwasher had only been there for a few days and a few leaves had fallen on top of it.
  -Darryl Gray was very rude, condescending, and anything but helpful.

  If you are buying and Appliance from Home Depot in the Greenville SC area ensure that they do not send Gray's Installation to your house.

  Horrible experience. Sent by Home Depot- our window for installation of our dishwasher was 2 pm to 6 pm - a rude Darryl Gray called at 6:45 to tell me he was 30 minutes away. Said he could not contact me earlier because he was out of coverage (probably not true). Immediately began telling me what he could and could not do.

  He failed to properly install the dishwasher. He made little or no attempt to provide any solutions. He was arrogant and rude and acted in a condescending manner.

  He refused to haul away the old unit which had been moved outside. The unit’s door had been removed and as soon as Darryl Gray saw it he said I am not taking this. Claimed it was covered in leaves and there could be snakes near it.

  If you are ordering an appliance through Home Depot in the Greenville County area ensure you specify not to use Gray’s Installation

  Garbage disposal install

  Bad experience this company is irresponsible and bad installers they installed a garbage disposal a month ago they left leaking and I called a lot of times for fix the problem and never came to fix

  Install a dryer

  Mr. Gray was sent thru Home Depot to install a new dryer I had bought & didn't hook the cord up correctly, tried to beat it into the outlet (cord was upside down) then refused to install the new dryer duct, said it was a HVAC problem, NO. ITS HIS PROBLEM, & I've been dealing with Home Depot since to try to get my dryer where I can actually use it. DO NOT USE DWIGHT GRAY OF GRAYS INSTALLATIONS! Home Depot needs better installers.

  Mr. Gray worked with us through Home Depot. There were a couple of issues regarding the disconnect timing; however that was an issue with HD and Mr Gray.
  He said he would be at the house at 8am...was on time.
  Next day he came and installed the sink and new faucet.
  No problems at all.

  wall oven install

  $1,800

  Mr. Gray came out and measured for wall oven and cook top through Home Depot. The day "he scheduled to install, " he called and said he needed to reschedule 2 hours before appointment arrival time was suppose to be and said his crew was done for the day. Well, NO they were not, as They did not carry through with the install appointment with us. That was very unprofessional !! After a week of no call back to reschedule, I had to call Home Depot and get management involved. Finally, after 2 weeks, the crew of all of 2, Mr. gray and a helper, came to install the wall oven. When I pointed out to him that the oven was installed crooked, he had the nerve to tell me it was because the wall was uneven. NOT ! An oven the same size came out of the area, so the same size new one should have been an exact fit. Do NOT USE Gray's Installation owned by Dwight Gray !!! They are unprofessional and do not perform good work!! HOME DEPOT really needs to get more installers qualified, as I will not pay my money to have anything installed through them again, until they have better installers to choose from!!!!
