This review of glen Annas and his crew at greenbuilt Llc is based on my experience and my opinion. I hired greenbuilt Llc to frame a house. He quoted me a price per sq ft based on my plan through text messages. He did not provide a written bid or contract, which was the first red flag. He provided a material cost for the job through text, again nothing in writing. He preferred to buy the material through his supplier instead of me getting the materials which I had wanted to do to make sure it was paid for in full. Halfway through the job he wanted cash for all materials used, I wasn’t able to provide him with cash as I don’t have over 20 grand in cash laying around so I got him a cashiers check for all materials so he could pay for the materials. I asked for a lien release from his supplier multiple times but he brushed it off and never supplied me with one. After he had finished a majority of the job I paid him 85% of labor owed. The remaining would be paid after inspections passed and pick up work was completed. I contacted his supplier for a lien release, they said there was a balance that needed to be paid still before I could get that which was odd because I had already paid for materials weeks prior. At the end of the job it was difficult to get him to pay the material balance, the job took longer than he said and material and labor was also more than he said it would be. The work was sub par. There were walls not level trusses were crooked and they wasted a lot of material which should have been used but was in the trash pile not to mention the stamped print they used was crumpled up and rippled and not able to be used by any other subs. The pickup work was never 100% completed, he gave me a discount and told me to hire someone to finish it cause he was too busy and he didn’t make enough money on the job. I would stay away from glen annas and his crew at greenbuilt Llc. This is not an honest company that has integrity.

    Response from Green-built LLC February 26, 2023
To start with this job I did not reach out to this customer for work . He reached out to me from my previous work he was familiar with. His site , actually his moms house to be accurate. Mike works as a truck driver and works nights and sleeps throughout the day until 3pm. So essentially he’s running a job site he is never on and he can’t read plans or be contacted when there are issues. Instead he wants subcontractors to be the builder and spend their countless hours making up for his lack of knowledge and no response as he sleeps. First off, his foundation was poured wrong , not per plan at all. Walk heights we’re off so lumber bid per plan didn’t work because their were changes . Again not something Mike or his mom would know because he can’t read plans nor has a clue what he is doing. So again I had to order differed materials to make the site work and hardware. So job start date impacted as well as messing up my other schedules elsewhere. Make made changes as his kitchen was too small then didn’t take accountability as those changes he didn’t like after the fact. Mike has no understanding of how to run a site so we impacted so many stops. As foundation was wrong it lead to the wood wall heights taller in garage . So yes we need more plywood and longer studs as things change. But as Mike sleeps we take care of his site and he reaches out around 4pm . As for payments this was a joke. He could only meet on weekends because of his schedule. so even though we need materials on Tuesday I would pay for them or add to my account then wait for him to have time to pay. Some weekends he was to busy or didn’t answer til day was over. So I actually am paying for his materials weeks before he pays then when he does the bank would hold his checks for a week because personal check with low check number. So after a few times of that I ask him for cashiers checks or cash so I’m not waiting for payments 3 weeks after. In fact most framers don’t pay for materials instead they would pull off site until paid. So i was a free interest bank for Mike to be honest. Mike then didn’t want ti pay balance until his other subs were done and he could get a frame inspection. With that being sad the balance of the job was what was owed in material on my account. As again he’s not a builder and has no real experience this happens because if he doesn’t pay supplier will lien for materials not paid for. As for the one item not corrected after frame inspection we did go there again he didn’t have the materials and again he was sleeping so didn’t answer. Then when he got hangers and other he would message me from Home Depot asking if he’s getting the correct materials . Again he’s the builder he should know but instead he wanted a free college degree from others. It was never my job to run his site he also agreed to finish the item that was left and he take $200 off . I told him I’m ok with it and just want to move in from him. As he finally made last payment he then said he wanted more than $200 and took out more . I took the payment walked away and that was it. We do good work and work for amazing clients . I do wish I walked away when I seen the foundation was so bad but I tried to help this guy and he turned out to be an issue the entire time.

I am thankful to say we 100% can say we hired a first class builder and we can't be more delighted . We gave them a design and an idea for an outdoor living area and they redesigned it and made it look like a magazine . Everything was done so perfect and quickly. I have 2 dogs in my back yard and they worked around them during the time they could . I appreciate that very much so. We truly enjoy the pizza pit and stone table . We are blown away special thanks to you crew

Few weeks ago I went to Lowes in Auburn to grab some paint. While I was in the store getting tape I ask another customer there about how to get straight lines with tape and when to remove it. He was a nice so I proceeded to ask him about some deck and granite upgrades. He gave me a basic idea of a price so I ask him if he would come bid the job at my house in Redmond. Honestly at this point the catch a contractor show was going thru my mind cause I am meeting him a lowes with no references . To this day rather I got lucky or not I am very relieved to say , they did my decks outstanding and all of my kitchen granite and now they are starting my kids bathrooms.
