The job involved running cat6 cable through my attic to six rooms in my house and installing the wall sockets for each. The contractor ran two of the wires (the closest ones to the closet where the network switch was planned to be installed), but didn't cap/socket those wires. He cut the holes for a couple others, but left it at that.
After that, was two months of text-pong in which I'd ask him weekly if he'd be coming back to finish the job, and him telling me some excuse why he couldn't right then (the excuses sounded reasonable each time, but as months went by, no matter what he should have been able to find the time), but that he'd absolutely be there in a few days. Never was. I gave up trying. Job was agreed on at the beginning of April. Contact was wholly lost by June. Whole thing should have been a two day job.
