Mike Ortega is an honest and trustworthy contractor. He tells you exactly what needs to be done and gives you a detailed explanation of the scope of work that will take place. Had the big name roofers and smaller roofers come out to house in Taos, one didn't even look at the inside or let me know they were at the house. All the big name roofers wanted to charge more and do less, "just a patch job". It was down to Mike and a few others with similar prices and different solutions to a really bad roof. He respected that I, a woman, after being educated on flat roofs, knew the whole roof needed to be replaced due to shoddy workmanship by the builder and was willing to work with us to figure out how to the do it right. One winter and a wet summer later, no leaks, no ice jams and we are almost done repairing the inside. Would use him again and referring Green Meadow Roofing to my neighbor who has a house built by the same guy.
