Larry Frost is the worst. I wish I would have done a Google search on him before I hired him. He let his license lapse and asked me for the renewal money. He promised to pay it back and never did. He claimed he was working up North to pay us back the money but never seen a dime. He's a slick talker and can be a funny guy but he's laughing all the way to the bank with my money. Surprise he's still out there.

    House fire gut and remodel
    $10,000

DO NOT USE THIS COM0ANY OR ANY COMPANY ASSOCIATED WITH LARRY FROST.

In Dec 2019 our house caught fire and we lost everything. We knew Larry some what so asked if he would take a look and see if he could help us out. We chose to pay in phases. Larry insisted that his payments be up front ($5000). Phase 1....we had already cleaned out the house of debri....Larry was to gut the inside. Plumbing, Electrical,Cabinet, etc. After weeks of off and on working with the 1 helper only there phase 1 got completed. Phase 2 was fixing 2 structural beams, some patches of hard wood floor that wouldn't sand out, and replace the staircase. We gave him another $5000 but we couldn't get him to show up. He said he bought beams and had an engineer out but no receipts. Several months went by and we had the opportunity to sell the property so we did. We contacted Larry to try and get our money back or work out something new but he was on vacation....probably using our money we gave him. We came to an agreement that he owed us $3800. For this he was to drive up loads of gravel. We were paying for the gravel but he was taking off 60 per load deliveried. Never brought any gravel. He was supposed to put up a barn at our new property for the difference but never did. Larry showed up and took measurements, staked it out and tried to get a permit thru butler county. Is license was expired so we paid it just to get this done. After 3 months of e vusses and not showing up we had to hire another company. Prices on all materials had doubled by now.....and was paid thus group am additional 2500 due to inflation costs with fuel and such. Still have not recieved any receipts or and of the $5000 he stole from us in a crisis situation. This man has no morals and he has plenty of new vehicles and such to sell to make it right.....instead thus looser texts us that he will not give us more than 2500 back when he gets some settlement! I guess court is in our near future!! Don't get taken by this swindler!!! USE ANYBODY ELSE!!!

foundation pre work, guttering, fencing, electrical, plumbing
    $22,500

DO NOT use this contractor or its owner, Larry Frost. In June of 2018, I contracted with Larry Frost to demolish my old home and prep the lot for the addition of a new modular home. We could not get Mr. Frost or his "workers" to show up on time each day. If there was even a very slight chance of light rain, he would call off work for the entire day and nothing would get done.

The prep work involved building a new concrete foundation, as well as completing the finish work once the modular home was installed on the foundation. That work included rebuilding the fence, installing guttering, and all of the electrical and plumbing work that needed to be completed. The contract was done in a way that would have me giving Mr. Frost four draws totalling $22,500.

Each draw would be given to Mr. Frost at the beginning of each phase. Phase 1 was demolishing the old home, which I gave him $5,000 for. I gave him another $5,000 to pour the footings of the foundation, which was completed two weeks late.

I gave him a third draw of $5,000 when he was supposed to complete the stem walls. It took him three more weeks to do this work, all while he stated that he was "so busy" and could not find someone else to complete the work.

Finally, after the stem wall work was completed, Mr. Frost demanded the remainder of the money due, which was $6250. I refused to give Mr. Frost that money because the work that was left on the contract could not be completed until the installation of the modular home was complete, which was going to be two more months down the line.

He threatened to file a mechanic's lien on my property if I did not pay the final draw. I told him he had been paid for the entirety of all the work that had been completed up to that point and that there was no reason he would need the rest of the money because the rest of the work could not be completed for another two months. I stood firm and offered to compromise and give him $2,000, but he refused. Because I wanted to take the high road, I gave him $4,000 of the remaining money, which he accepted.

As I suspected, when it came time to complete the rest of the guttering, fence, electric and plumbing... he could not get the work done. A subcontractor showed up to do the electric, which Frost begged me to pay for out of the rest of the $2,250 that I still owed him. I did pay for that electric work because it had to be done and the subcontractor refused to do the work unless he had a signature.

When the gutter guy showed up, he did complete the work and asked me for $750 payment. I showed him my contract with Mr. Frost and said that my deal was with Mr. Frost and that I would pay Mr. Frost when all this work was complete. I'm not certain, but I doubt the gutter guy was ever paid by Mr. Frost.

So that left only about $1,100 that I owed Mr. Frost on the contract, with the fencing and plumbing that still needed to be done. Sure enough, when the plumber showed up, his estimate for the work was a minimum of $1,500, of which Frost again begged me to pay for up front. I absolutely refused and said he was going to have to sign the invoice himself and complete the work, which he did... reluctantly. To this day, the plumber contractor has not been paid.

That was the last I heard from Larry Frost. He refused to complete the fencing work included on the contract, so I refused to pay him the remaining $1,100. I had to find my own contractor to complete the fence work. I'm thankful that I refused to pay the remaining money because it allowed me to complete that fence work to my specifications.

Once again, do not use Green Valley Construction or Larry Frost for any work you need done. He is completely shady and will screw you every chance he gets.
