Review on "Greener Plains" sprinkler systems. In 2019, Greener Plains put our sprinkler system in thru Jordahl homes. They have been coming out twice a year to either turn on the sprinkler system in the spring or winterize it in the fall. As of this spring, I discontinued service with Greener Plains because of rudeness on the phone...not just once, but multiple times. Then, they charged me for another "call" to adjust something they missed the first time- and they didn't even fix it when they came out the second time. Now for the actual "complaint". Just now, I had another company come out to winterize the system. Greener Plains always told me "never unplug the controller in the garage". I just figured it was because all of the settings would be lost. No- that's not why. Every. single. time. they came out, they charged me for a "new battery" for the system. THERE IS NO BATTERY IN THE SYSTEM. I'm so stupid, I didn't even check for the past 4 years. For 4 years, every time they came out, they PURPOSELY lied and said that they put in a new battery when they did NOT. They didn't want me to unplug the system because there never was a battery in it, which they charged me for every time. I am so livid right now. Between Jordahl homes and all of their "contractors" and now this.... Ugh.... How do these people sleep at night :(
