I have been using this company for the past 8 years and they have always been excellent to work with. I use them both commercially and for residential and their work is exceptional, on time and their pricing is competitive. I'm the one who always has that after hours emergency and Greenscapes always takes my calls no matter what time of day.
This is an exceptional company and I am very difficult to please.

Terrible service !
We had Greenscapes of Nevada as our landscaper/yard maintenance provider for about 2 1/2 years and have had multiple problems throughout that time.
Patches of sod in our back yard kept dying and having to be replaced and Greenscapes couldn't figure out what the problem was.
At one point their foreman, Matt, told me we needed to replace the whole back yard with new sod and they needed to remove the soil under it and replace it with "special" soil so the sod would grow.
We agreed and paid them a lot of money to do that but it didn't solve the problem. Then Matt started trying to blame our dog for the sod dying in certain areas. But our dog is a male who pees in various places (not a female who pees in the same place over and over and kills the grass in those spots). And our dog has lived here for 6 1/2 years and the problem didn't start until 2 1/2 years ago after Greenscapes took over so the dog isn't the problem.
About five weeks ago Matt told me Greenscapes would replace the patches of sod one more time but I would have to find a new landscaper after that because he said Greenscapes doesn't have enough crews so they are only going to do commercial landscaping now.
I doubt that is the truth but I was so fed up with Greenscapes anyway that I didn't mind them quitting.
The crew came for the final time three weeks ago and they replaced a few pieces of sod but they didn't know how to reprogram the watering timer and the guy told me my timer was broken and he left. I knew it wasn't broken so I called Matt. He made the guy come back and he walked him through setting it over the phone. But the guy set it for watering 20 minutes twice per day, which I knew was too much, and he left again without adjusting it.
So I called Matt and he came out the next day and set it himself.
I thought everything was ok at first but then I noticed the whole backyard looked dry and dead and some of our Seco Palms in the front were turning yellow and dying.
Today I had another landscaper out here and he immediately saw two problems:
1. The crew had covered up some of the sprinkler heads when they laid the sod so that is why the sod kept dying in certain areas.
2. When Matt (the foreman) programmed the watering timer three weeks ago he didn't set it to RUN afterwards. So our grass and Cypress and Palm trees in the back yard, and the bushes, thousands of dollars worth of Seco Palms, and our huge palm tree in the front yard, have not had ANY water for the past three weeks while we have had temps between 109 and 117 degrees every day.We also had multiple problems with the crews leaving our back gate open while they were working in the back yard and leaving it unlocked when they left. This is a big problem because we have a small dog who will leave and run around the neighborhood if the gate is open. I was always afraid he would get hit by a car or get stolen. I told the crews and Matt about this many times and I finally took the key back from them so they would have to get the key from me every time and I could make sure our dog was safely in the house with the doggy door blocked before they opened the gate. But even then they left the gate unlocked before giving me back the key and I didn't know it was unlocked until the high winds came and my gate was banging open and shut.
I would not recommend Greenscapes of Nevada to anyone !
And in fact if our Palms and trees die, and the grass doesn't come back to life, because they didn't get any water for the past three weeks we will be suing them. -

Greenscapes did my front yard and gave me exactly what I wanted. I couldn't believe how the landscape they designed changed my property. They are true landscape professionals and I would recommend them to anyone!

By E.s.December 1, 2015Sod Installation$5,0003 daysHorrible Experience
Greenscapes installed sod in my backyard in March of 2015. They have a 90 day warranty, but quickly after that time in the middle of the summer, my brand new sod completely died off. I emailed and received no response for three weeks. I called to follow up and finally someone came out. They saw the dead grass and made sure the sprinklers worked, then left without offering any solutions. They didn't even offer to charge me to fix the problem. I emailed them back and never received a response. I filed a complaint with the contractors board, but to no avail. There was not enough evidence to prove it was their fault. The customer service when they took my $5,000 was great. The customer service when I had problems was horrible. Their solution that they offered was to tell me that I could seed it myself (as if I did not know that was an option). I am appalled at the horrible customer service I received from a "professional" landscaping company. The least they could do is respond to my emails and help me come up with a solution, even if it meant charging me to fix it. I simply wanted a nice backyard. My experience was a nightmare.

Greenscapes did my back yard and it is beautiful! They were willing to listen to my ideas and gave some of their own to make mine just the way I wanted.

They did my parents backyard and did a tremendous job. They were willing to listen and provide ideas to help modernize 30 year old landscaping.
