We hired GreenStar to do a variety of projects in our new house -- installing a wood floor, adding some molding, some drywall and electric work, and pouring some concrete to fix a drainage problem in our garage. We were very happy with the results, and especially impressed with the consistent high quality of the work across so many different kinds of project. Oscar's attention to detail was terrific and Emil was great to work with. Definitely recommend!

I hired this company to remodel my bathroom. Emil, the project manager, was always responsive to my concerns and punctual. My bathroom was completed in about 4 weeks with all the proper permits. I would reccomend this company and I plan to hire them in the future for a kitchen remodel.

Green Star did very good work on my property in Saratoga. They remodeled my kitchen and built a small addition of a bedroom and a bath. I'm very happy with their work, entire crew was responsive and very professional. Jay, Daniel, Emilio and everybody else did excellent work. Green star remodeled 2 of my bathrooms. I live on Central in Alameda, and I was happy to find a local company with good reputation that is capable of doing the work right.
I wasn’t dissapointed at all, the guys did a great job! I’m very happy with the results and more important my wife is very happy with the final results. I hired Jay to remodel my house in Sunset, every day for 2 months, his
guys were here at 8 am sharp. They worked on my Bathroom and garage, they guided me every step of the way, helped me purchase materials and dealt with the city permits. Im very thankful for their services, they are truly a great group of people.

Workers were efficient , on time each day . Excellent painting job in hallway and bathroom. I would hire them again.

Hired Green Star to remodel my kitchen and bath. I was surprised by their work ethics and how detail oriented they are, they did great job on my home, and i already referred them to my aunt who wanted her kitchen done as well.

renovation with Green Star .
These guys were extremely friendly, professional, showed up every day very early ( sometimes to early:), and finished working
around 5 or 6 pm. They passed all inspections required by the city on the first try, which saved us a lot of time.
The job was completed promptly and in accordance to what we envisioned.

Unfortunately what I wanted accomplished couldn't be done without a major digging and building.

I would minus stars if I could. I contacted Jay about 3 years ago. We did a walk through. He promised a cost estimate but never delivered. At that time he was working for his family business. A few months ago, I unintentionally contacted him again. Greenstar is Jay's company. I was unaware that he started his own company. I recognized him when he came to my home for a walk through. Again, he promised to provide a cost estimate. Again, he didn't deliver. What he did was send me an email stating that the estimate was attached but what was actually attached was the scope of work that I had emailed him. I brought this to his attention and he just strung me along saying that he would send it. He never did. Now, I Buildzoom I mentioned it to him and rather than owning up to it, he became defensive, insisting that he sent the cost estimate. I just ended the conversation by wishing him good luck. I feel he is extremely unreliable and not honest.

We found GreenStar Construction online, and scheduled a visit with their representative.
We liked that within an hour from our phone call, Jay the owner was able to come out and provide us with an estimate. We discussed different remodeling ideas, and we had a good impression of his knowledge. We appreciated that there was no pressure for us to sign right away, we liked the design ideas and we really liked the reasonable price Jay provided us for 2 bathrooms
In the beginning we felt overwhelmed with all the different options for materials, Jay directed us and guided us through out the project, helped us sourcing out the materials and followed through with his promises.
Initially we were worried about the outcome of installing small marble tiles on the wall since we were not sure about how it'll look at the end, but the crew was very professional, installed small subway marble tile on the wall, they made sure the tile was straight, they polished the edges and made it look very nice. By end of each they the crew updated us about the work that was done and the work that will be done in the following days. We are very pleased with Green Stars work, and we will recommend them to our friends and neighbors

Hired Green Star to work on my house in Tiburon. The work included kitchen and bathroom remodel, interior and exterior paint, and fixing leaking roof. Jay, the owner of the company was available 24/7.
He use to come and check the job at least once a week and was calling to see if I'm satisfied during the progress of the project.
His staff was highly professional and even beyond my expectations.
They did a great job and I'll definitely do business with them again
