BUYER BEWARE! Greg Fox was hired to do a small job on our property. He did not complete the project, after being paid, and he continuously ignored my phone calls/texts. He asked for more and more money to complete the job...we agreed to pay him, and he did not finish it. His verbal agreements mean absolutely nothing!

No I would not recommend this contractor. It is with much regret that we must file this complaint again contractor, Greg Fox Construction of Forney, Texas. We’ve patiently with verbal assurances and acknowledgements by Greg Fox that he would fix and repair damages caused by his workers to our newly remodeled pool. We contracted Greg Fox after weeks of due diligence by us on the quality and professionalism of his work. He came highly recommended by various trade sources, and we even toured one of his recent projects in Highland Park. Greg was hired in April 2018 to install (pour) a 900 sq. ft. colored treated concrete pool deck and to horizontal and vertical saw cuts the concrete deck and to provide clean up and removal of debris from pool site. The negotiated contract price was $9,300.
My complaints against Greg Fox Construction are as follows: leuders
• His failure to properly supervise his workers resulted in poor quality workmanship. His lack of supervision led to damage to the concrete decking and to the pool’s coping made of lueders stones. The stone for the coping was purchased and installed by another pool contractor as part of our pool-remodeling project prior to hiring Greg Fox.
• He failed to follow-up on the work provided even after he acknowledged that his workers incorrectly performed the work. He neglected to power wash the deck to remove the red-chalk line staining from the deck and the poor quality caulking that surrounded the coping.
• Failure on his part and his workers’ failures to follow clear instructions relative to the application of cleaning solutions on the lieders stone caused a deep staining and burning of the lieders.
• Finally, Greg has repeatedly through written and verbal communications promised to repair our pool deck. However, he has not followed-up nor kept his word.Greg appears as if he really cares about the quality and professionalism of his work, but his follow-up and attention to details are lacking.

Sounds like Greg went right from Puzzled B to us? The man was always late, talked a good game, flashed a bunch of finished prohect photos (in retrospect, most certainly are not his). Took our deposit, hired inexperienced guys (whom I actually felt sorry for) and he proceeded to trip, slip and fall all over my back yard. He did a half asked job of removing the sod, cut our buried cable line (actually asked me what I expected). Half way through, he requested an advance or a "draw" on the remaining balance even though we had agreed to half down, half when done. He ended up finishing with a lousy job and walked off saying we could keep the last bit of money. The guy is a grifter, a hustler, a liar and loser.
Two days ago, we were contacted by the concrete supplier looking for payment...turns our Gregory D Fox wrote two bad checks that bounced and he's never paid his bill, now more than 6 months later.
To make things even better, he's posted on Facebook photos of our project as if it's something he's proud of.
Well Sly, you never finished the job. My only hope is that he actually paid the two men that worked here for him. Although, based on the conversation I overheard when they were last here, he stiffed them too.
In short, he's a Putz.
