    I’m a widow. I was very careful in hiring a good Landscape Contractor. I found one. Gregory Boykin of Environmental Designs was more than I could very expected.
    He and his crew did a wonderful job. Extremely happy !

    The absolute best designer. We gave him a 85,000 budget. His plant selection was fantastic. He exceeded our expectations. We recommend him to anyone who wants a professional job.
    Sadly, we just found out he just retired!

    Landscape, sod and irrigation
    $10,000

    First Greg is a very nice man. Our landscaping and irrigation end result with Greg was terrible. 1. Paid him $10,000 to install irrigation, sod and use landscape plan on our 3/10ths of an acre lot plus install Zoysia. 2. He Did not follow plan and did not put the specified plants but used different ones on some of areas. 3. Sod was put down in January (Zoysia should not be laid FROZEN). Spent $1500 to replace 400 sq ft of sod as Greg would not replace. 4. Irrigation job was shoddy: A. Had to call someone else to take apart the cutoff valves in box to clean out sand 3 times as the sand and grit would not allow valves to close. This cost $150 a trip and over $600 in lost water than ran down the street. Mind you Greg didn’t want to help me with the valves so I had to hire an outside source. The irrigation problem was due to shoddy installation not flushing out the water lines before installing. Lastly the lawn should have two more sprinkler heads as the coverage is not good.
    Greg came back once and didn’t even have the tool to adjust the sprinkler head. Nice guy however I could NEVER recommend Greg for Lsndscaping and irrigation.

    I do not warrantee any act of God such as frozen temperatures, tornadoes, hurricanes, snow storms, floods or any act of God beyond my control.. We installed this particular individuals Turf as per the Builder so it would not interfere with his closing of the Home !! How do my own designs. My company installs as per my plan. The plants I recommend are mainly deer resistant. As per my design, if I recommend a certain plant, then that particular plant is used particular plant is used. I have been in business since 1973 and was fortunate enough to landscape some of the largest blue-chip companies in the United States , such as IBM, Glaxo, ER Squibb, Procter & Gamble, Burroughs Welcome, Union Carbide, Dupont, GE, and Westinghouse. We have also Landscape over 500 homes for Builders throughout North Carolina South Carolina and Virginia. we have also landscaped over 500 homes for Builders throughout North Carolina South Carolina and Virginia I dispute what this person has said about me !!
