I had 12 different companies come look at my roof with just as many answers as to why it leaked. NO ONE ever got back to me with quotes like they promised. I contacted Mark at Ground Up Construction and he told me what they should do to fix my leaks. He recommended taking out the 4 sky lights and redoing the complete back side of the house and extension. A few days later i got a quote from him, a list of everything they would do, and a price to do it all. He mentioned it wold take a day with a full crew. Unfortunately because of the complexity of the roof and skylights, it took 3 days! He said it took longer than expected but would rather have it done right, than rush the job and have to come back and repair anything for free if it leaked. Him and his workers were just awsome people! very profesional, and hard workers. I spent the entire 3 days on the roof with them just to see what and how they were doing it. They answered any questions i had, explained why they did what they were doing, and it was just one of the best experiences i have had in a long time (i am by no means a handy man or any good at things like that). i was sweating on day 2 that it was going to cost me more than contracted at because of the extra work and effort they put in, but to my surprise i paid exactly what i was quoted at in the beggining. Mark and his crew especially went above and beyond what any other team would do. I cant say enough good things about thier work or the workers themselves. I am one happy camper with everything that was done. I will definatley hire them again when its time to roof my garage!

Hired them for remodeling a bathroom ,they worked 11 days a total of 18 hours on a bathroom we provided all materials and since is our home and we’re not planning to sell we went with very expensive and nice materials,Their job was to install I wish I could post pictures of work that they did overall they were disrespectful , unprofessional and on everything that they did they made damage to and did not took any responsibility for it , constantly had to call them wait for them and talk to them.Graund up construction Mark Scholtes is unprofessional, disrespectful and provides the worst quality and does not take any responsibility for their work , worst experience ,absolutely horrible

We advertised a building for free for complete removal. They show our building on their facebook page being torn down. The mess and complete disrespect of our location was beyond belief. We were left with insulation blowing around yard, trash from dismantling in a complete mess. This project was promised to be cleaned from top to bottom, dumpster discussion on initial day. This turned out to be a complete disaster with us being left with the expense of cleaning up after them with them absolutely not answering calls or texts, to making excuses they were all bedridden for three days etc, etc. Totally disrespectful, would not reccomend any contact with them. If there were negative star ratings we would be well below zero.
