This was a horrible experience. The owner does not communicate in a timely manner and is very unprofessional. I am business owner as well and know that social media reviews impact a small business. For me to write a negative review is very difficult. Here are the reasons I would not recommend this company to do work.
1. Work not being completed by the original timeline agreed upon (August 1, 2021). Once the company had admitted that it could not complete the work by the agreed upon deadline originally set forth, a second completion date was established for Aug 15, 2021, however, once the property was inspected by myself and the project manager on Aug 2, 2021 and the company refused to communicate with us after multiple attempts to contact them about the condition of property.
2. Work not completed. The fact that there was destruction of property and the company did not complete the agreed upon work, I was forced to hire additional contractors to finish the project that the company failed to complete. Additionally, the new contractors had to fix the damage to the property resulting from the company’s work.
3. Unsatisfactory work. Poor quality and careless painting, flooring incorrectly installed, kitchen dismantled and parts damaged, missing and/or destoryed materials and structures...with many pieces and parts missing and needing to be replaced due to destruction of property.
4. Not responding to multiple phone calls or text messages for communication about the condition of the property on Monday Aug 2, 2021. Multiple attempts to contact the owner went unanswered. There was not any communications on the part of the company from late Aug 2, 2021to Aug 6, 2021. Only when the company was told they were fired and the locks had been changed did they communicate with myself and my project manager. Additionally, you the company failed to communicate in a timely manner throughout the 2 months it was hired. When communication did take place, they continued to avoid showing photos documenting any work you completed.
I am own a rental property in the Altoona area and feel compelled to share this information. I have reciepts, photos sign witness statements of the condition of the house on August 1, 2021. All I ask was for the contractor to refund my second payment. The contractor refused and was rude, disrepectful and unprofession. I would not recommend this contractor.
