I have been waiting a while to finally put up my post which is the real deal on this Company. Let me start by saying all these good reviews are a straight up bunch of lies. Mona Merriman’s review is his mother, Melinda Johnson is his sister, and J Shears is his baby momma & friends trying to lie for this unprofessional fake business. Here is the real deal on this Company! This Guy Gerald was asked to do some work in our brand new construction house. Stairs, flooring , shower doors and install a new front door, backsplash, along with painting. What I am going to do is let my pictures speak for me. These are some examples of the mess he made in our home. Yes he put baseboard on out steps, yes he did not put the flooring in our closets that were measured from Home Depot, no there are no risers & treads on the stairs, yes you see black stain on the wall without frog tape. You see paint dust all over brand new flooring, you will see paint on our cabinets, windows, fire alarm bell, metal strips on the stairs & walk in closets. This is the disaster show he made of our brand new home. He would arrive late leave early , he never gave us an 8 hour day. He didn't complete the job my husband paid him to do. This unprofessional fake contractor treated our home like a crack house. GU Construction is not a reputable business to refer to anyone. Please folks take a look at these pictures and decide not to use this company for your home improvement. Unless you are ready to be conned, cheated and lied to. I need to mention this funny thing he always posted the homes he had done. He never posted the work he did in our home, now I no why! So I did, if I could give this business zero stars I WOULD!
