I was to have the house insulated and sided, screen doors replaced, a new kitchen door installed and stairs replaced in rear front and side and foundation painted. Garage to be reinforced and sided. I was told 3 days to insulate and side the house and garage. It took 4 weeks since as soon as I left for work they left. Peter and his crew did a great job on the stairs. They installed the doors but the labor cost to install was very high. I would have had Home Depot do it if I had known before. Since December I have been trying to reach Paulo the owner. He finally called on June 30 th and promised to come over on July 9th. He didn't show and has not called since. Workers failed to caulk the Windows and did not insulate correctly. I had to purchase plastic and tape to cover all of the Windows the draft was terrible. The house has a lot of Windows so it was expensive for me to do it. I added weather stripping to the doors and put a towel on the bottom. The kitchen was so drafty that you could not sit and eat without shivering or wearing a coat. A neighbor looked at the Windows and said only a few were caulked and they were not done correctly. He could see the shingles when he looked out the bathroom window. He said the wood will rot since the insulation was not installed correctly and Windows not caulked. Also the master bedroom Windows were not caulked and the snow, ice and rain have gotten under the roof causing the front porch ceiling to sag, I am seeing water stains on the living room ceiling. In the attic you can see light through the wood and the roof is lifting possibly due to the soffit not being installed properly or insulation missing near the roof. This is a disaster for me. A colleague's uncle referred him to me. Paulo told him that I had approved of using inferior products and installation since I could not afford what he wanted. This is not true. There was no mention of inferior products or installation. I had him come down on the installation cost for the screen doors and the painting of the doors. I would definitely not recommend him.
