Guido built specifically Anthony was an absolute nightmare to deal with. I hired them for my home on the recommendation of someone who knows them (a family member of theirs). It was the worst mistake. The guy bid on my plans and agreed to come do it, then tried to quit the very first day on the job. Apparently he was too good for my simple home. Complained not liking single wall Construction because you have to hit the studs with the nails that you put through the siding. That should have been the first big red warning flag! He and his crew could not even accomplish the simple task of keeping a 16-inch layout on their studs. In addition five minutes before they framed one of the walls I told them that the window was going to have to move, I even marked it on the floor where it needed to be and gave them a revised kitchen plan that showed that the window needed to move in order to accommodate the cabinets. I assumed since I let them know so close to framing it that it was done correctly. Wrong, unfortunately I discovered that some time later Several days later I had to fire them because issues kept cropping up with their quality, cutting things wrong and causing extra expense, and they're not showing up and or not working as much as they said they were going to. I am an experienced framer, but due to health issues I didn't want to frame it. I took over and begin sheathing the roof. Found trusses that were an inch and a half of lay out at the bird block, sheets that they miscut, or caused irreparable damage by them sinking their nails too deep, and windows that were nailed to the top so they would be subject to breakage under snow load. Anthony of Guido built is too incompetent for the most simple jobs which is what my little home was. It took me weeks of my own time and hundreds if not thousands of dollars to fix his mistakes. Do not hire him!
