    Replace 110 feet of privacy fence.
    $2,000

    Gulf to Bay Fencing put about 110 feet of board-on-board privacy fencing up and one 4-foot gate. At first glance (and in the picture my son sent), the fence looked great. However, it was much different in person. Here are some of the problems that I noticed the day they "finished" the job.
    Problems:
    #1) When I was given the quote I told them I chose them based on their Angie's List (which was supposed to give me a 10% discount...I think it would have worked out to about $200). I was told, "Don't worry about that." by the salesman. Never did get a discount.
    #2) They "lost" my paperwork and it delayed my project by about 2 weeks.
    #3) The gate was stuck on one screw that was not screwed all the way in.
    #4) Walking through the gate I nearly poked an eye out on a screw that was sticking out the side of the gate. (I have pictures)
    #5) My neighbor and I had to remove and replace about 30-40 nails that missed the 2x4 and stuck out the other side of the fence...right where his son and his dog could be injured badly if they got to close to the fence.
    #6) I had to pick up cigarette butts that were discarded throughout my back yard.
    #7) A shirt was left in my backyard by the installers. I get it...it's summer and you're working outside, but if you're going to take off your shirt while you're working, please take it with you when you're done. Don't leave it draped over my garden hose for me to clean up later. I don't have any need for your nasty shirt.

    I sent pictures to the owner via text message, but never heard anything back from the company after I gave them the check.

    Now it has only been two(2) years since the work was done, and the fence is still decent. However the gate the salesman told me would "last forever the way they build them" is starting to fall apart. I knew it wouldn't really "last forever", but I thought it would last me at least a good 5 or 6 years.

    Oh, and then I find from this website (buildzoom.com) that they never did pull a permit for the job.
