I called Mr Guptil about having no hot water in my kitchen sink, making it extremely difficult to wash dishes and prepare food. He said he could come out in a couple hours, he also asked me to remove everything that was under the sink for easier access. I told him I had a few other things that needed attention, such as slow drains & a continuous drip in my bath tub faucet, I had also bought a new faucet for the kitchen sink&new bathroom, faucets, along with shower head all needing to be replaced. He arrived as stated , came in and said he only had time to do the drains, he stated I do three drains for $90. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted done first, but he said he would come back in a couple days. He quickly did the three drains, something I really didn’t need to have done immediately but I thought well I’ll just have him do that and he’ll come back and do the kitchen sink in a couple days. I paid him, asked him if he wanted a check or cash. He stated cash would be best. As he was leaving, he said he would be back in a couple days, after two weeks I was starting to wonder if he had forgot! One of the drains he unclogged, by morning was clogged again, I thought I would mention it to him when he came back. At the third week I tried to call with no answer, and then left a text , asking him if he had no intention of coming back! I still have not received a reply. To say the least, this plumber is beyond disappointing, and will take full advantage of you. I have given him ample opportunity, and he still does not reply. These jobs weren’t even, tough, he just didn’t have the common decency to reach out after he left.
I’d say he’s incredibly shady and beyond disappointing.
