We started the process of a custom build with Gus Pounds homes. We quickly realized "budget" is not in their vocabulary. Nor is listening to the buyer when the buyer knows what they want and doesn't want to spend or go beyond that. They have issues to fix with their internal processes, paperwork, "designers" who are not real designers, bad plans, and more. We canceled the project and then, not surprisingly, we did not get a fair amount of our deposit refunded back to us. If money is no object, they will build a nice home for you. Expect to be upside down when the dust settles.
