We are pretty disappointed with the lack of professionalism. I met with Aldo several weeks prior to hiring him and explained what we wanted, what we knew as "hog fencing" (rustic looking pipe with small rectangular wire). He suggested chain link fencing, which I immediately said no to and was very clear I didn't want chain link or anything like it. He seemed to understand. The fence we received is clearly chain link with the wire changed out. I reached out to Aldo expressing how unhappy we are and sent pictures showing the poor work, and he has ignored me completely. Pretty disappointing when you hire a supposed reputable company and do not get what you asked for!

By Kara H.December 20, 2022WIRE FENCE$4,300Read more
This owner Aldo is the most un-professional human being I have ever met. He is rude and a liar. He quoted us to have a fence put up at my work, and it took weeks for him to come out and do it. While looking at his proposal and contract, there is no dates or signatures. We paid 1/2 down and weeks later they showed up. It took I believe 4 days to complete. The fence was to stop people from jumping the wall and stealing from us. The weekend after the wire was put up, we had a guy step over the wire and steal again. I called him and told him we needed the wire raised up, and he sent over another proposal, and again it was not signed or dated. I asked him to do the same as the last time, I didn't notice that he had written don't add to gates. The day they were here, I noticed that and called him. He informed me that if he did the gates it would be another $500.00 I said we will not pay that, and he said if he did it he would not warranty it, because the wire would get stuck when opening the gates, and then he would be called to fix it all the time. I stated that was ok and we wanted the gates done. He said ok and called the guys that were working on the walls. This was on a Thursday, and his guys came in the office at about 3pm and said they would be back to finish. They never came back. It was strange that the first proposal was $2200.00 and the second proposal was $2100 for doing the same thing, and then he wanted $500 more for the gates. This wasn't right made no sense, he agreed to do the gates without warranty. He is very rude and a liar. We tried to compromise with him and he stated that he changed his mind on doing the gates and he hung up on us.(mind you we paid in full before the job was complete) I sent an email to him with no response. I have also noticed that he is also a realtor, I would be very careful of this guy, he lies and is so unprofessional. His name is Aldo Schritter. Don't list him as your realtor or fence guy.

By AnonymousJuly 7, 2014chain link on home$1,300Un satisfied Customer
Brother called around for estimates for my mother whom is t9 years old.
They came out and gave estimate and took money quickly and installed fence in a timely manner. My mother was not totally satisified and had a couple minor issues, so we thought. Company had to be called a few times and come out to see issue and we were told it can and would corrected as best as they could considering what was being asked. Sent out different guy and was quick to ask for money Again???
Very long story but to make it quick; mother was still unsattisfied and had a few issues she wanted corrected, she left messages herself. Owner did not return her calls, said it was someone from a 623 number babbling and did'nt leave address on her message. But he had caller id and did'nt take the time to return call and ask what adrees whe was calling about !?! Very poor customer service on owners part and Finally went out to correct a couple of things but said he would not go back unless he was paid $100 and that he was done with us and hung up on me! Uh excuse me but dont we have a year warranty and what happened to satisfaction gurantee?? Also big note...They are not registered with the BBB!! that tells me they are not willing to guarantee there work!!Response from Guyco Construction June 19, 2020I understand you are upset about the situation. It was not my intention to leave you with a bad impression. I do only take payment after the customer agrees the fence job is complete. We did review the installation after to make sure it is what we originally agreed on. Any adjustments that have to be made to the original agreement would cost additional money. I am sorry you feel it was not fair of me to not want to come back, if you didn't pay me for the extra work and changes made to the original installation.

Consumer Warning:
Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise against working with this company. The workmanship on my project was extremely poor and left unfinished. The fence installation included slats of inconsistent sizes, visible holes, sharp exposed wires, and an excessive number of staples throughout. Several slats have already fallen out of place, resulting in 914 linear feet of substandard work.
The materials delivered were never inspected by Aldo. They appeared to be damaged and of low quality, when I raised concerns, I was told the issues were due to a manufacturing defect and would be corrected but that never happened. Instead, I received threats of a lawsuit and mechanic’s lien, even though we had already paid approximately $19,000 before the work was completed. I have copies of all checks that were cashed by Aldo. I currently have a small remaining balance which I will pay once the work is corrected and properly completed which is standard procedure.
Please use caution and do thorough research before hiring this contractor. Do not pay in full until the work is finished to a professional standard. In my experience, promises were not kept, In addition was instructed by Aldo to dismiss workers who came seeking payment suggesting that at that point in time the laborers themselves may not have been properly compensated by Aldo. Don’t let his fragile or sympathetic demeanor mislead you; ensure everything is documented in writing and completed before issuing final payment.
I have everything fully documented and plan to file formal complaints with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC), Better Business Bureau (BBB), Arizona Attorney General’s Office under rule A.R.S. § 41-1491.18 Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 44-1521 through § 44-1534 and any available consumer review outlets. In conjunction with a possible lawsuit if Aldo unlawfully filed a mechanics lien against my property, along with property damage and defamation.
