We have a similar problem with this plumbing company through AHS. We called for our master bedroom taps (one dripping and all really hard to open) and laundry room sink tap taht is totally broken. He said he will file a report and get back byt vlised the service request saying its all good. Have called AHS multiple times and reopened the request but he closes it saying its all done. I am not sure why this company wants to accept jobs if they dont want to do it.

Like the others, forced to use this guy through FAHW. Showed up, looked at the water heater and told me I needed a new one because my brand “was crap”. Never touched it, just made that diagnosis based on the brand.
He believed it was a pressure regulator issue and said he’d explain that in his report to FAHW. He lied about that and only filed a one line report that said “no mechanical issue”. That required me to follow up multiple times with FAHW to explain what really happened and that the problem still exists.
FAHW tried to reach GVS on multiple occasions but he ghosted them. Never responded. If you have a choice, don’t choose GVS Plumbing.

Forced to use them through First American. Totally incompetent. Refused to go under the house to see if a leak was coming from under the house. Then told FA that the leak was coming from "beyond the foundation," despite visibly coming from under the house, so they wouldn't have to cover it.

Hired thru AHS. They came out to clear a drain. Said the vent stack was not working but they don't do roof work. Left. Came back. Said the drain was working. It wasn't. Left. I hired another plumber; they did what GVS didn't - snake the drain and remove the clog. Drain works now. These guys are incompetent. Or lazy. Or both.

Zero stars. Total fraudulent company. Accepted the expedited work order from home warranty American Home Shield (AHS) so I didn’t have a choice for leaking water heater. Took the $125 service call fee after being on property less than. 5 mins. Had no hot water for 10 days as he kept the contract open by submitting incomplete diagnosis and holding up authorization process before AHS reassigned new plumbing company. License should be revoked for this criminal activity. Obviously he’s a scam artist being part of plumbing home warranty programs: takes the service call fees and never delivers on the repairs.
