Im advising all who read this complaint to stay clear of any business with :

Owner Gary Wayne King
I had a pool constructed by This company. When 2 years after completed, my water bill doubled. I shut off auto fill valve, water level dropped 18inches overnite and remained there.(large leak), pool could not be used any longer.
I called Gary to come over, he came and looked at pool, informed me my pool was one year past warranty for plumbing. He would not fix major leak in my pool.
II hired a pool leak detector company, paid $200, he informed me leak was with main drive pipe line, near skimmer area. I emptied pool to bypass main drain and valve. So i can run pool, until i can afford to fix leak.
I again had to empty pool and hire someone to break my stamped colored concrete deck.
They found leak where detector company said was leak.
Leak was at main drain PVC pipe at 90 Bend. 90 bend was covered with concrete(patched) .
Also concrete was under bend area of approx 18 inched wide by 24 inches long.
It appears concrete was a fine concrete used by Gunite company hired by GW King pools. It is obvious they stepped over unbackfilled trench and broke pipe, and covered their tracks by putting a few shovels of gunite from pool to seal break in pipe bend. This is not an acceptable way to patch pipes.
Foreman for Pool company should have inspected all open trenches before they can say subcontractor was done. And therefore able to pay them, But that did not happen.
If gunite company would of notified Foreman of broken pipe, caused by them, pipe could of got fixed in 20 minutes time with $10 of fittings, WOW, what a shame…
I contacted Gary again, to inform him of exact reason why main drain was leaking, He said he would come by end of week. I asked him to fix pipe. I would have it dug up for him. I would back fill , etc etc, but he never showed up. Im not surprised. If you look at other reviews, you will see he is not responsible for his work. And has a bad word of honor.
I recall when pipes where 1st installed, that they left trench uneven, where pipes where not installed in a flat trench, but very uneven. (poor pipe support) What this means is that anyone who steps in trench to get over to pool area, could break pipe. Exactly happened. I recall informing Foreman why is this trench not leveled out & supported well. Keeping in mind,
my Father had an underground construction company(40 years). HE WOULD NEVER HAVE AN ENEVEN TRENCH LIKE THIS!!!!!! UNACCEPTABLE.
Im very disturbed how companies can do such shoddy work, and still sleep well.
Im a General contractor, i would never do work like this.
Before my Subs can get paid, work must be completely inspected and also to make sure they did not damage other trades around job site.
This cost me a lot of heartache and loss of time and money.
Im glad Issue is now fixed, what a relief. This cost me well over $3,000, to
Break concrete, fix leak, fillup pool again, patch concrete.
I would never recommend this shoddy company, stay away from them.
Please contact me at my email if you have any other questions about this work from a so called company did at my home.
I can email you pictures of open trench showing break and their horrible patch job.
