9 months ago and $23,000 later and we are STILL paying for our mistake of engaging this recklessly unscrupulous clown!! DO NOT ENGAGE THIS CROOK. I've had to get the work he did completely re-done by a legitimate remodeler only to find that he didn't install a drain pan which resulted in water POURING through our ceiling into our garage. While getting the ceiling repaired in our garage a month later we find that the toilet he installed he damaged and installed incorrectly causing water to leak into our garage. Result: We now are treating for mold and had to spend close to $1,500 on plumbers, sheetrock, insulation and painting. Do yourselves a HUGE favor and run from this man. He even had the temerity to curse us out on several occasions when requesting he look at his mess to see if he could do anything. I've since seen that this is a very regular behavior for this man.

We rate H. Wilson and Company one star. If we were able to rate him less than that we would. We paid him over $11k to build a patio. He assured us the project would only take a month. After destroying our roof causing it to rain in our home. He asked for more money. We later discovered that he never paid the engineering firm hired to draw the plans. Every issue we encountered with Homer left us more and more dissatisfied with him. Things got to the point where we could not communicate with him. Due to his unwillingness to listen to our concerns. Some days his crew would show up some days they wouldn't. Or he had a different crew every few days. We trusted him because he seemed to be a legit contractor. At this point I wouldn't allow him to build a dog house for us. Please DO NOT HIRE HOMER WILSON & CO. He will rip you off and leave your home in shambles. We totally agree with all of the other reviews left. He overran the budget, took our money, and the workmanship was terrible. He is far from professional. We ended up having to hire another company to complete the project. Thus causing us to spend another 12k.

Similar experience to all above. If I could rate him 0 stars I would. Hired him to do 2 jobs simultaneously & didn't complete either one. We ended up with 2 judgements against him and liens on his property. If you don't believe me, look it up, it's a public record.

I wish I would have seen these reviews before hiring H. Wilson and Co. Mr. Wilson charge me 13,500 for an outdoor patio That was supposed to take 3 to 4 weeks for completion and was paid by the second week in full. Per his contract he was supposed to have the TIWA inspector supervise the work in which I had to pay for out-of-pocket. Either way the job started August 5 of 2016 and was semi-completed March 15 of 2017 . Mr. Wilson up on the first inspection did not meet code and had to terret down the patio and wanted to charge me for the takedown and installation of the materials correctly. Now I have to pay someone to fix most of the work he did not complete. I would not recommend this company to anyone unfortunately. I used home advisers and he showed up to my home to days later with a quote. Speaking to home advisers, they said they did not have this company on file and would be looking into it but unfortunately no one has called me back .

Mr. Wilson is a very personable man. However he is not trustworthy.
I paid him for completing the job as contracted. ; I gave him a check #1267 for &1.950.00 . The next day he called me, He said," the check was pending , and he needed the money to pay his bills etc.
i agreed to go with him to my Credit union and get the cash, We went to the johnson space Center Federal Credit Union in Pearland, TX. The lobby close @ 5:pm that day. We went through the drive in. i cashed a check for the amount of the check.$1,950.00 and gave it to Mr. Wilson. The next day I found out that the check # 1267, had been paid to him via: chase bank. Mr. Wilson is denying any responsibility in getting a refund. He has ignored my emails and my phone calls .
I am applying to the courts ,Which will cost me $119.00 to file. I do hope Mr. Wilson see fit to refund my money plus the court fees. I would like to charge him by the hour for the mental anguish etc.

We contracted with Wilson, he a lot of extra charges after we signed the contract, he NEVER finished the job or his obligation to me, had nerve enough to want an additional $4500 because the contract he used wasn't any good, he wanted me to pay for his mistake, I told him he could call his concrete company and get a fresh batch, he wouldn't do this said it was my responsibility? I didn't order the concrete, I believe he tried to save money and cut corners and it didn't work. We told him give me back my money and he didn't, so now have to take him to court. He wouldn't even finish the other parts of the job nor would he put my fence back up, and he left all his mess for us to clean up. I would never recommend him for any job, he should have his business license pulled. Now I have to pay again for someone else to complete his job. Avoid this business. I should have just thrown the money on the street.

Two months after work completed, concrete is cracking and crumbling. He will not come and discuss problems. Supposed to have 1 yr warranty.
Would NEVER recommend. He is rude and condescending, will tell you "what you want to hear" before contract is signed. Get license and insurance information; unfortunately I didn't. Also, check BBB.
