    Honey Won't Do

    Brad Ivers, owner of Honey Won't Do is an unscrupulous contractor who puts his aggressive demands ahead of the quality of work his crew performs. He requests payment without inspecting the work's progress. The work of his crew is in many cases amateurish and he allows the workers to arrive at the work site late due to a softball game/practice, slovenly looking, and to leave early. Many days they worked 4 hours or less. The customer isn't told what days they will show up and what days they won't. He never visits the work site. It is clear he has little interest in the customer's concerns but anxious expectation for payments. I concur with the review sent by Lisa S. on 12/16/2015.

    RUN away from this company or better yet, DO NOT CALL Brad Ivers at Honey Won't Do. You discover Brad won't do either. What an awful experience.

    I would tell people to RUN away from this company and the owner Brad Ivers.
    I signed a contract for a sunroom last May, 2015 and I'm still engaged in settling the final payment that is based upon the customer's satisfaction. The work crew walked off the job because "Brad doesn't pay me (Steve)". Doesn't return messages, phone # disconnected, no e-mail address, is very demanding of his money, etc., etc. and hires workers who are total amateur. If there was a fraction of a star I would use it. I regret not vetting this company better. I'm in agreement with the review posted Dec. 16, 2015.

    Wish they had a 1/2 star rating

    In May I gave $8,000 as down payment of a pergola for my deck. I was told it would be completed BY the 4th of July. Never heard from company from mid-May to end of June. Multiple calls in late June and early July were not answered. Finally heard from them about 7-14-15. This call was AFTER my call threatening legal recourse. They claimed the rain delayed many of their projects. That I can understand, but there is NO EXCUSE for not contacting the client to inform of the delay, not return phone calls, in short, to breach the contract. When I asked for my money back in July, Brad Ivers said "I won't let you out of the contract". I have spoken to an attorney, but it is expensive to even file a suit. The down payment was made partially by check, part by credit card. I have contacted both bank and card company to let them know that I want my money returned due to fraud. Have also contacted 9 Wants to Know. This company was at the Colorado Home & Garden Show; that was my only recommendation; I did not do any other research, shame on me. Do NOT fall into their clutches; stay away at all costs.
