Story is long Day 1 1/2/18 Aron was 3+ hours late to job, he worked for about 5 hours we gave him the deposit he insisted on $1100.00. Day 2 1/3/18 he was 4 hours late worked about 5 hours. Day 3 1/4/18 no call no show he finally text said kid had school delay. Mind you there were NO DELAYS that day he never showed and would answer calls or texts after that. Day 4 1/5/18 Job was supposed to be 100% completed, no call no show won't return calls or texts. Day 5 1/6/18 no call no show. Day 6 1/7/18 no call no show. Day 7 1/8/18 no call no show we called and text multiple times. Finally got a text stating he had fell hit his head and broke his phone. He said he had Dr. appt at 3pm and would call my husband after. 5:30pm rolls around still no call I text him he finally text at 7pm stating had more tests done but Dr. released him to drive as of Wed 1/10/18 but that he would call my husband on 1/9 first thing in the morning. Day 8 1/9/18 no call no show. He finally text my husband said he would call him at 11am no call by 12:30pm my husband started calling and texting him. After multiple calls Aron had turned his phone off so our calls went right to voice mail. Day 9 1/10/18 no call no show. My husband called and again phone is off and went right to voice mail. So here we are day 9 and the job still isn't done and he took our money!!!! The little bit of work he did do was impressive but his lack of follow through and customer service is beyond horrible. Only bonus is we have his trailer and all his tools at our house and he won't get them back until we see our $1100.00 cash in our hands. Bad part is my husband has miss two weeks of work and pay because of this guy, stress and the job still isn't done. I have multiple lawyers in the family and I will file a claim if it comes to that. But please if his name Aron Hall or his company Modern Construction comes across you for a job DO NOT USE HIM.

Aron Hall, owner of MCContractors, LLC, was hired to construct a home addition for our residence on January 1, 2015. After a statement of work was drawn up and signed, Mr. Hall required a down payment/installment before work could begin. We paid Aron promptly (within 5 business days) with the understanding that work would begin immediately with promised completion by April 1, 2015. A considerable amount of time post payment, none of the promised blueprints for the addition were drawn, no permit applications for building were submitted to the city, to our knowledge none of the necessary materials were ordered for our project, and no construction had begun; all of these tasks were ones which Mr. Hall agreed to complete and/or begin after receiving the down payment. In the time following the down payment for our project, we have received blueprints from an architect for our project and building permits from the city, however Mr. Hall continues to neglect to contact us with any information regarding our project. He has actively ignored all of our attempts to contact him, which include phone calls (voicemails left), emails, text messages, and public and private social media outlets. Due to the fact that Mr. Hall refuses to acknowledge our growing concern regarding his neglect of our project, for which we have paid the first required installment and received no subsequent construction, we are in the process of filing criminal charges against Mr. Hall. I strongly advise anyone considering this company for a home improvement project to disconnect all ties.
