I hired Halo flooring November2022. They did an awesome job, and he had an active Contractor's license at the time. I hired them again May 2023 for a bathroom remodel. It was a struggle all the way through, a drug out to where I ran them off the job. They were not doing work per code. At the end of October 2023, I decided to recheck the contractor's license and to my amazement it had expired, due to him not having workers comp insurance. I asked Tima about it, and he showed me his insurance paperwork. Workers Comp Insurance was starting up in two days. A month later I rechecked his license and it still showed that it was expired. I asked him again and he showed me the insurance information. In December I ran him off the job not just for this reason. He was trying to cheat me and cut corners on the job. At this point I he was over paid due to me paying for the new shower glass and waiting for six weeks. I called the glass company, and he never ordered it. Tima sent me a revised proposal showing that he owed me money back, and then he disappeared.
