By Suzanne P.October 22, 2021New 660 ft fence across pasture$15,000
We signed a contract on 7/24/21 for a new fence across our front pasture. On 9/30 still no work had began so we sent an Email to Mr Brad Parks that we where canceling the contract for non performance. We heard nothing from Mr Parks so on 10/11, I called him. The conversation went very poorly so I refused to talk with him any long and agreed only to email /text for all correspondence. After a war of texting that lasted an entire day, Mr Parks agreed to pick up surplus material and provide us a refund of 2372.00 on 10/18 at 10:30am. Mr Parks no showed that appointment !! Mr Park son Brandon and mult employees then entered our property without our permission and took the material and didn’t leave check. Mr Park then agreed to deliver a check on 10/20. Again he failed to deliver Then he made an appointment to deliver check 10/21 and then texted he couldn’t make that either. At that time we informed him that if we didn’t have a check by 11am we would call the Kaufman Sheriff and report theft of services and trespassing. Mr Parks then agreed to meet us at his bank. Mr Parks demanded a waiver that included the sentence “ customer also agrees that nothing will be reported to the Better Business Bureau as well as any other credit bureau” . Please use extreme caution with dealing with this man/company

By Sandy G.September 25, 2021Fencing and metal barn
Signed proposals/contracts mean nothing to owner Brad! Requested a 24x36 metal barn with brushed concrete, had several conversations with Brad about this and hand wrote brushed concrete by my signature, they poured it smooth. Advised Brad and he stated he must have forgotten to tell his concrete guy and would take care of it, it was never taken care of nor was the chunk of concrete they broke off of a corner. Barn was to be four horse stalls, Brad had the design showing this but they poured the concrete wrong and now I am stuck with 2 stalls!
They built a no climb fence which was to have a 12 ft gate, the gate they made was under 10ft, when I advised Brad of this he stated “if you can fit what you need through it, I’m not fixing it”. Gate and side panels also have a panel vs. the pulled no climb, Brad stated there was no way to pull just 5ft of no climb so they went with the panel. They did come back to fix the gate, however, instead of using a new metal pole they added onto the existing and welded more panel on, it’s looks horrible and the latch isn’t long enough to securely close the gate.
I filed a complaint with the BBB which prompted Brad to call me a coward, but he also stated he would come out and fix the concrete, he never did. I kept the small amount (under 1k) left owed on the barn to fix their mistakes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY (I have texts messages to back up everything stated in this review) -
By Joe O.December 1, 2020Construct metal building
Brad, his son Brandon, and their Hammertime Fencing crew constructed a metal building with brick and stone wainscoting for me. Their work is amazing! Knowing the large project I was about to embark on, Brad put me at ease with his professionalism and knowledge of the project. Whenever I was unsure about something, Brad was quick to explain the process. Brad and his son Brandon even helped me with some design features that I hadn't thought of. Now I have a great "man cave" that looks better than I ever imagined! I highly recommend Hammertime Fencing if you're thinking of having a shop built! Thank you Brad and thank you Brandon!

By Tom J.August 13, 2019Fence Driveway$20,000
Hammer Time Fencing and Brad Parks are a bunch of lieing thieves. My mother in law contracted them to do a fence. Which took them 6 months to finely get to. She had asked about concrete work for her drive way and before we knew he had people here busting it up before she even agreed to everything he was doing and then charged double the original quote and still another 2 months later still hasn’t come back to fix the new fence that has to be taken down for the driveway. The owner Brad Parks is a liar and will tell you anything you want to hear. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING RIPPED OFF.

Brad Parks and Hammertime Fencing are nothing but a bunch of liars and Cons. I hired him back int Feb,2022 to build a Barndo shell. I paid him half the money for concrete in which he started the next Monday morning with dirt work and forming. I then waited 2 months for his Plumber to come and do the underslab plumbing, in which he screwed up the drain line for the toilet and now i am stuck fixing it myself or paying to have it fix. anyway after plumbing Brads concrete guy showed up about 2 months later to pour concrete, he left out the pads for the beams to weld too and the concrete has small cracks in it. So around september Brads son Brandon Parks came out with crew to build barndo, in a little over a week it was built. They finished building and i did a walk thru and found some damaged panels that needed to be replaced, then it started raining and holy crap the thing leaked like crazy. i called Brad to come and fix it and he sent his guys out on a saturday and they were upset and mad because he made them come, they were rude and never fixed anything. i called brad back and he said that they had told them it was fixed. I told them that it wasn't and i wanted it fixed. so i wrote a bad review on his page which he said that he tried to fix it. I then called another company to look at the work and found out that the roof needed totally removed and replaced, and the beams that go across the building were too far apart and i needed an extra beam because of the span. At this point i am out about $15,000.00 dollars to replace the roof and about a year on building my house. Do Not Use these people or Brad or Brandon Parks unless you enjoy getting screwed.
