I gave Dennis an $800 deposit for the installation of a boat lift on 12/10/19. He cashed the check on 12/11/19. I was supposed to be emailed a copy of the proposal. I never received one. When Dennis removed the lift we bought from the neighbor, he took 2 long metal planks that were with the lift. He told me he had them, then he told me he considered them garbage. I told him they weren't garbage to us. He never returned them after I repeatedly asked. I provided a lot survey when he requested it on 12/21/19. I asked on 12/24 when the permit request would be submitted. He told me to contact Regina. I called Regina on 12/24 and 12/28. On 12/28, she said she didn't know if the permit request had been submitted. I told her we wanted to cancel the lift installation and that we knew we'd have to cover the cost of the permit request if it had been submitted. She said they were on vacation and would call me back on 12/31. She didn't call on 12/31. I contacted her on 1/2, she forgot about getting back with me. I called and emailed Dennis and Regina at least a dozen times since then, up until 3/12/20 when I finally gave up. No response from either of them. As far as I'm concerned, they ripped us off for $800. I would strongly recommend never doing business with them.
