    Handi Services has one of the shadiest CEO’s that we have ever dealt with, BOBBY THOMPSON. This company says one thing then renege on it later. They claim that they have done more than 20k worth of work for us despite not even ordering the materials. By their own admission, and on recording too. They have one of the flimsiest contracts, that they broke almost right away by not ordering the materials.

    But apparently we owe them more money for work that hasn’t even been done and materials that were never ordered. They quoted us one price for carpeting, that should’ve resulted in a change order but did not, then later told us it will be more than 3x the original quote. They verbally told us that furniture moving would be part of the cost, "turn-key service" they called it. Then later told us we had to pay even more money for it. When we requested to be released from the contract, that again they had broken, they then told us we owed them even more money and they would not release us from the contract. We have him on recording berating us and badmouthing the salesman. Oh pardon me, they were willing to give us back less than 1/3rd of our 15k deposit, despite not doing ANY work in our house. We cannot believe the audacity of this man. We did a little digging and it turns out BOBBY THOMPSON, the acting contractor and decision maker, is NOT a licensed contractor and has a criminal record. However his wife JESSE THOMPSON holds the contractor license, and they are going through bankruptcy. Looks like at the very least, a statutory violation. Makes us wonder where our money even went.

    Shady business here. DO NOT USE THEM.
