It is too bad that Luis and his team start out as wonderful employees and then soon after become poor communicators, no shows and do sub standard work. Try leaving him a message on his voice mail only to find his MAILBOX IS ALWAYS FULL! I would not recommend the Handy Construction Team to my worst enemy. Save yourself time and money and go with ANY other contractor.

Luis and Sunny were recommended to us by our architect and after doing significant due diligence/interviewing 7 other contractors, visiting another one of their projects we decided to hire them for our extensive renovation. People say not to hire the lowest bid, but in this instance it worked out great.
Our project--adding 800 sq feet to our basement (master suite, media room, laundry room), rebuilt our interior staircase, upgraded all electrical, remodeled upstairs bathroom, rebuilt our foundation, built a deck, new heater and water system, recessed lighting, reprinting/re-trimming, etc. You get the point. Pretty much bought a house and only thing we kept intact was the roof. :)
These guys work insanely hard and made it possibly for us to live through the renovation. Their guys are ALWAYS on time and Sunny/Luis always there or available for a call. They worked around our schedule and worked weekends to get things done. Incredibly accommodating, professional and great guys.
Our house turned into a dream home before our eyes. Highly recommend them. We were really happy with them and will use them again on future projects. Also, very competitively priced!
