Shawn Hammer was contractually hired in late August 2017 to restore my home from fire damage. He assured me that he would complete the task in three months, completion in November, the latest. He promised me that he would work on my home daily until it was finished. He received over $26K before completion. When I returned to USA in December 2017 and back to my resident, I found my home not finished. The staircase was not repaired. The custom handrail was still in the box. The floor still had missing tile. The kitchen counter was not installed. The bathroom shower tile was uneven and the grout was flaking and falling out. The electrical outlets were installed unevenly and several did not work. When I asked him to return to my home to repair some of his finished work, he told me he had to pay his workers their Christmas bonus and he could not return to my home. He promised to come after Christmas. Instead he called and told me he could not make it. Shawn Hammer never returned to my home.
