The worst! Needed a new door- seems simple enough, right? Wrong.
We contacted Handy Manuel and he responded promptly with a good quote and we thought he'd be reliable based on reviews we read. He ordered a new door for us from Michigan Window and sent an installer out. After the installer left we noticed that we could see sunlight around two edges of the door and the hinges were missing screws. So we call, the installer comes back out, does some work, now we can see light around two edges. One more call, one more visit. A few days later the door blows open and we realize the latch doesn't even hit the latch strike! It was impossible to latch the door. We had to literally stack heavy objects in front of our brand new, newly-installed door to keep it shut.
By this time we were done. We asked for a refund and were told no, it's a problem with the door and the manufacturer hasn't responded. But, of course, we didn't buy the door from the manufacturer. We bought it from Handy Manuel.
So we called another company, Divine Doors, and got a good door, properly installed. Of course, we are out the cost of two doors and two installs. So learn a lesson from us- don't call Handy Manuel.
