Hardin Rehab Homes professes to not charge mark-up on materials. However, they grossly over-order what you pay for, return it for a refund, and refuse to return your money - this came out to a 53% mark-up on our project. Also, a major component of our project was omitted without discussion or our okay and the money charged for materials and labor was never refunded - another huge mark-up. Hardin Rehab Homes professes to use competent and knowledgeable workers, however, on our job there were 2 teenagers that had no clue what to do or how to do it. They spent a majority of the unsupervised time just goofing around. Many aspects of the contract provided by Hardin Rehab Homes was ignored without care or concern for the job. Hardin Rehab Homes did not finish the job, we hired another contractor to complete it. Hardin then refused 5 requests by us for a meeting to do a final walk-thru and discuss our issues with the job. We finally made it to mediation (after they cancelled 2 dates they set) , an agreement was reached, a legal document was signed, and they decided they "didn't want to pay" so they have ignored the legal binding document. Can't recommend this company for any job.
