    STOP Searching and just hire John Harding as your builder, seriously.
    Where to start.. contacted John and described our property and our goals for building a custom home. We spoke on the phone, he went over what he and his team does, his values, and what to look for and what to watch out for. I immediately had a great feeling about John and asked him to come meet me. I met John on a rainy day on our property in Indian land SC. Heavily heavily wooded and we wanted to build a house there, seemed almost impossible. We walked around the woods, he had his tape measure in hand and happily answered all my questions and concerns. We had an idea of home plans, he linked me to his contact that drafts blueprints and he worked up our home on paper. We met with John again, went over what we were looking for, our budget, and our plans. He went though all of it with a fine tooth comb, asked tons of questions, guided us in every way, and said “let me get a number for y’all, we can tackle this heavily wooded property and build exactly what you want”
    We signed a contract with Harding Custom Homes and never looked back!! The ENTIRE process from first speaking to John, to handing over keys to our amazing customer home was exceptional in every way. He kept us informed on the next steps, helped with surveying, permits, you name it he did it. He introduced us to our superintendent and stayed involved the whole way. 6 months later, as promised, we now live in an amazing, beautiful new custom home, and remember he had to manage to clear MASSIVE trees and prepare before building every started.
    We are beyond thrilled with our new home, been in 3 months, and could not be happier. Special thanks to John’s amazing superintendents Cody for getting us started and our man Jim Rudisill for taking over and following through to this day. They are both amazing guys, very knowledgeable, and kept us informed 200%, answered all our questions, helped us make hard decisions, and we can’t say enough about John’s whole team.
