As stated above, pool was fine. Never finished the job as far as repairing what they destroyed during construction. Wont return E mails or Texts. I paid to have the landscaping repaired to keep from getting taken to court by my neighbor. Under no circumstances would I recommend this company to sweep a drive way let alone build another pool .

The building of the pool and appearance was fine. The issue came after pool was built. Weep holes did not have time to cure leaving unsightly coloration of dye fir stone plaster. One of the pool lights were not installed correctly and took several months to resolve after many, many phone calls. Light flashed strobing colors when turned on. The light was installed with wrong connector causing light to hang off pool wall. Couple of months later and many calls, a salesperson came and installed as a favor for Mark. Now onto salt water clorinator. The pool is oversized and they only installed one undersized clorinator. Manufacturer specifications show undersized. Many Months go by with weekly instant messages saying backorder. They install the second one without having gasket so pool is unusable. Called again and they got the gasket. Oh did I mention no electrician to install unit for 2nd TruClear unit. Weeks go by. Electrician comes and installs unit. We think that all is over but no. The power center is overloaded and shuts down pool pumps making it unusable. Thus where stand after pool was installed at end of last year. Wish me luck in getting this resolved. I am very patient man but have reached my limit.

Our experience with Hardy Pools has been a disaster - and that's an understatement. To show you the level of dissatisfaction that I have with Mr. Hardy I actually went through the trouble of recreating a Facebook account just to post a review on his Facebook Page.

Let me start by saying that I have had 3 homes built (Robert Elliott Homes, Gage Homes and Hawkins-Wellwood). I have done 3 remodels (1-Stark Companies, 2 with Regan Custom Homes) and I have built 2 pools prior to this one (Riverbend Pools and Water Frontiers). In other words, this hasn't been my first rodeo and I know the difference between excellent and bad. Both PRIOR pool building experiences were fabulous. This pool build job with Hardy Pools has been the worst experience that I have had with any builder or sub that I have worked with the past 30 years.

We were referred to Mr. Hardy by Robert Elliott Homes with whom we are building a 10,000 square foot home in the Park Cities. Mr. Hardy's claim of "Dig to swim in 30 days" has been an absolute joke. There were red flags early on like him sending my wife to West Dallas to look at tile and "figure it out", but we tried to remain optimistic since it was in the beginning.

He started digging our pool in November and now it is almost April and the pool still isn't finished. He's unresponsive, unprofessional and a downright liar. His crews are some of the laziest and most worthless I've ever seen. Case in point, we had to bring our builder's stone mason in to do the decking on the pool because his crew could never show up to get the decking done. He hasn't been on-site more than 1-2 days since November, but yet he's managed to bilk my builder with draws representing nearly 95% of the $140,000 job cost. I told my builder not to pay him, but he felt obligated to because Mr. Hardy was withholding payment to the stone mason, who has done a fantastic job on our home.

Mr. Hardy has caused delays in my project schedule, my move-in, my appraisal, my loan closing and has just turned the entire process into a terrible experience.

I would highly recommend that you AVOID this company and go elsewhere. If for any unknown reason you are considering using Mr. Hardy to build a pool, then think again.
