  Home warranty company sent them to fix our HVAC

  If you are in the area DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They were sent out by Old Republic Home Warranty and he said we needed a total replacement of our HVAC. We went 4 days without AC and he wouldn’t answer our calls/texts. We contacted Old Republic and they said it could take up to 10 business days but they marked it as priority so it shouldn’t take that long. They told us they would not reimburse us for a window unit but understood if we felt we needed to buy one. We paid out of pocket for another HVAC company to come and take a look and they fixed it with a $50.00 part. Harper’s has many negative reviews of the same thing happening and 2 of the positive reviews have the same last name of Harper. Coincidence? I think not! I gave 1 star only because you can’t leave 0 stars.

  For the bad reviews Read mine. This company was assigned to us by our home warranty providers. Our ac went out on a Sunday afternoon as the heat index was 110. Miserably I went through the process with my home warranty provider. Was given Mr Harper's number to call. Him and his team was on another job and quickly returned my call. Was so relieved they were here in about 2 hours. 9pm Sunday night my ac is doing great Thanks to Mr Harper and company. My advice to all the bad reviews is have patience understanding and respect. These guys are in the heat built for no one all day everyday. Gratitude for their time proved itself to go a long way. Also they work for someone too. Well qualified. Explained in detail what was done. Clean and thorough. Said they would leave my ticket open for a few days to cut out unnecessary time incase it went out again. I doubt this will be needed.   Takes on a job from my home warranty company and refused to complete the paperwork leaving us in limbo. I have a disabled daughter who cannot over heat she has seizures. Selfish individual. If you don't want to work don't accept the order from the warranty company.

  Was told have to use this company by warranty company. He came out told me he would call back with his men and when they can come to do the job. He won't answer my calls or messages. He won't finish the work lied to the warranty company about coming out. I have called the warranty company many times. They will not change the company and I am frustrated with this company not replying or calling me. He is not working on the problem. I have had it with them. They will be reported to BBB and the warranty company about how he is not following up with the contract. Ask for anyone but this company to do a job.

  This company was assigned to me by my home warranty. Two days in a row he said he would come to my house and did not show up. On the second day he stopped replying to phone calls and texts. I complained to the home warranty and requested another contractor. According to them, he told them he would be coming to my house August 1. I found this out on August 2. I have not heard from him since July 28. His repeated lies have stretched out this process and delayed me getting another contractor.

  By strange coincidence a good friend was also assigned him by her home warranty, a different home warranty company, and he never once replied to her so she never even got an empty promise from him.

  I get it that now is the hardest time to get help with air conditioning but this man flat out lied and wasted my time and left me in a hot house in South Alabama in late summer while I am recovering from major surgery.

  I believe I was completely respectful and appreciative until he showed his true colors.

  Do not waste your time with this horrible man and his worthless company.
