    Hurricane Shutters

    This company gets a 0 rating - be aware they have you sign a contract take 50% down payment contract states 8-10 week install for hurricane shutters never show when promised, requested deposit back for noncompliance only promises to refund down payment. This has been going on since Oct 2023. They have a f rating with BBB

    Lanai hurricane screen

    Signed a contract to have a hurricane screen installed on my lanai, June 6, 2023. To this date, still not started. Sent several texts, emails and ridiculous amount of phone calls, which no one ever answers the phone you have to leave messages, and no one calls back. All I have been told when they did respond to one of my texts is they’ll get to me soon!
    I have requested the return of my $3600 deposit in writing on two separate occasions, they never acknowledge it. I also told them I no longer trusted them to do the job and did not want to do business with them, just return my deposit and go our separate ways.
    They are continuing to advertise, still writing new contracts, one person I recommended, before I started to have problems with Harpers1980, wrote a contract with her five months after me, took her deposit and now she is having the same issues with them! I filed a complaint with the BBB, the Attorney Generals office, and notified the Charlotte County Sheriff department.
    Harpers 1980, Issac Boggs or Brian White have not made any attempts to contact me. FYI the license for Harpers1980 is in the name of Charles C. Pappas, no word from him either!
