Took forever to get a basic concrete patio poured. I wish I could say it was worth the wait. However, the workmanship was terrible. Our patio cracked not even 4 months after it was installed due to it not being done correctly. We also now have water pooling at our glass slider and water seeping into our house due to the patio not being leveled correctly. Please save yourself the hassle of this company. They have promised to fix our patio, but continue to find reasons to miss scheduled times to come fix it.

Definitely stay away from this company. Signed a contract for driveway tear-out and replacement August 9, 2017 and work still has not been started. Multiple dates were given and no one ever showed up. Owner Kevin Harrow came to the house and promised to make good on the contract but now the company has moved out of its office and left no forwarding address.

The owner Kevin can't be trusted. I signed a contract in early July, 2017 and gave Kevin a 2,000 deposit. I was assured the job would be started and completed within three weeks, however I was getting schedule changes and no shows through the end of October. After complaining to Home Adviser and threatening to sue HCi, Kevin finally sent two guys to start the job in mid November. After the forms were laid, I was informed by Sean his foreman that the company that provided the concrete would not deliver the concrete unless it was paid in advance. I had to pay for the concrete with my credit card. I would stay away from HCi, at all cost. They should not be allowed to do business in Michigan or anywhere else. If there was a negative star rating, I would give them a negative five.

The owner Kevin is definitely a crook. We signed up since March and on a payment plan, we paid a good amount of money, and we were getting schedule changes every week. This kept happening until beginning of September. We were promised a refund with no luck. I contacted the news to report this company through Hank to the rescue, any one else wants to join, let me know.

I contracted this company to replace my porch and put down a patio back in April 2016. I paid my half deposit and then the balance per the contract. The owner wanted me to pay more since his sales person added the contract up incorrectly. THEY NEVER COMPLETED THE WORK TO MY SATISIFACTION. The left the back door of my home without steps that were to have been delivered for over 1 1/2 years. The patio and the front porch were not up to code as well. He never pulled a permit. I contacted the owner as well as one of his installers for 1 1/2 years and since I have an elderly parent in my home I could not wait any longer. Plus my home was not safe. The day the cement was poured, the obtain the help from craigs list and I had to pay the cement company myself. they never came back to complete even the messed up work they had done. The owner will say they they attempted to bring my rear steps which were only going to be two and sit them on a poured slab. That too was not going to work. By the end of 2017, and after over 3,000 I had enough. I had to hire another company to remove and take care of the mess they left. They left left over cement in my yard near the fence. They are so unprofessional. I attempted to cancel this contract even before the work was done, due to all of the lies and delays and was told they were the only one that could do that. I was over the consumer timef rame. Well that is a little difficult in Michigan when I signed the contract in April and was told my work would be done or at least started in May before the Holiday. No work in May, June, July or August. They came in Sept to start doing the work and it was horrible. Then he wanted me to pay the balance I owed after I had to pay for the delivery of the cement to my home as well. They never came back to see if the workers completed or did a good job. I sent him numerous photos but that did not help. He was very unprofessional and his overall tone and and how he spoke to you was totally rude. I wish I had know this before I hired the, but the reviews were fine. No I find out they have no BBB accreditation and over 29 complaints on that sight alone. NO one should have to go through this when they are paying good money. Evening reading this site, nothing has gotten better. I want the money that I paid for crappy work to be returned. I also complained to the BBB and Home Advisor and it is bad when they take the work of the contractor without following up with the consumer.
