On October 4th, 2015 we chose and ordered a Fairmont Homes Model # 92701 Cardigan 27x52 Modular Home from Hartman Homes! On that day We were told the Home would take 6 to 8 weeks to manufacture and would begin site work in 2 to 4 weeks!
It's Been over 9 months and we have paid out almost $100,000.00 and they have fulfilled zero obligation for the exception of a footing, foundation, and floor - all needs to be removed! The elevation is 1 and 1/2 to 2 feet higher than agreed! The south wall is not setting on the footing! The walls also are not formed to specs of the elevation drawing! The concrete work is the most pathetic work we have seen in our lifetime! It is not just the appearance that's pathetic, it does not meet Code! The floor was poured on a Tuesday and by Friday it had already was cracked in 4 places! The wall and floor are full of cold joints and honeycomb, the Storm room is not FEMA compliant! However, the worst thing is the frost footing is not 48 inches! several places I probed it was only 30 to 36 inches deep!
