  Pool pump

  Do not use use guy horrible service, he had many excuses of why he couldn’t come, he put in a used pump, home warranty paid for the pump but it was not installed correctly, we lost money and time waiting for this guy to show up, he needs to be reported. His dad does all his work

  Your pump you have installed is not working and has nothing to do with an electrical panel issue as you diagnosed at the time of installation.
  Panel is fully function and it was never an panel issue. I have paid you in full for a used pump and installation.

  Call or text me at 3524084599 to resolve this problem. I have been trying reach you all week No response.

  Unfortunately this only option left to get a hold of you.

  Refund my full amount paid for pump and installation and take your pump back or fix the problem. Choice is yours.

  Need for you to make this right asap.

  One star seems too much. Gary called for a warranty repair on Monday, said he couldn’t come until Thursday as he was on vacation. It was agreed he would come fir an early morning appointment to fix the pump. After asking when I should expect his arrival he said 11am. I explained I was not available in the afternoon, so after waiting four three days, six days after contact, he isn’t coming. Now I have to book another pool company. DO NOT USE GARY.

  Had multiple appointments set up with this farce of a company through my home warrantee company, but they kept canceling on me week after week, for consecutive 'car troubles' on magically the same day of each week which happened coincidentally the same day all my appointments were set for. The last appointment we had, they just never showed up. Tried calling the tech, messaging the tech, and calling their main number. They don't answer the phone. They don't return messages. At all. They don't set up or keep appointments. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

  replace pool pump

  $1,500

  Garry was sent out by Home Warranty of America (HWA). He responded very quickly via text and was here on the day he said he was coming. He evaluated my pump, got with HWA and replaced the pump a week later. He was very professional and courteous. This was on March 2020. I have texted him again and he actually responded even though he was at a family outing on the weekend. I would definitely use him again.

  Replace pool motor

  In my opinion , First Choice Pool Care should be renamed Last Choice Pool Care . Gary made promise after promise to repair my pool . The “ no shows “ continued for almost a month . He would send me a text giving me an appointment, then when the appointment was missed or I would just want to confirm the appointment, he did not even have the courtesy to answer most of my messages . He was assigned my work through my Home Warranty Company . It is useless for me to mention all of the red flags but bottom line , the repair had to be reassigned to another company after nearly a month . I do not trust Gary from First Choice Pool Care . You are taking your chances if you hire him . His work ethic is just not there and he is not a man of his word .

  Pool repair

  Gary came to repair control board to salt water pool in Sept 2019 .he put board in but never put clips on board to prevent from falling so never completed job. I reached out multiple times over past 5 months. Sometime he would schedule a date to come but never come. Poor business ethics look elsewhere for repair needs.

  Avoid at all cost Gary Haughian... he changes business names so it is hard to keep up with him... he took over $1200 to repair my pool automation with no intention of repairing it... had to submit fraud papers to my credit... he operates under First Choice Pool Care CPC1458136, Doctor Pool Care CPC1458590, Clearwater Pool Supplies.
