We went looking for a local landscape company and HAYNES LANDSCAPE was recommended but with a warning that the owner, Brett, was a flake and didn’t show up for appointments that he had scheduled. With that in mind we contracted services with HAYNES LANDSCAPE and the work that he did was OK, but there still needed some finish work such as additional bark to cover the drip lines (we said that we would pay for additional bark) and to replace the plants that he had planted that died. In a face to face meeting he agreed to replace the dead plants and add additional bark by July 17, 2015. That date came and went, but we just chalked it up to him being a flake. We waited until July 20, 2015, telephoned Brett and left a voicemail. That call was not returned. I was thinking that Brett was seeing my phone number on his cellphone display and not answering. On July 24, 2015 I used a friends cellphone, called Brett and he answered his cellphone on the 2nd ring. He said that he would finish the job by July 24, 2015. On July 27, 2015 and again on July 29, 2015 I called Brett and said that we needed to get this job completed and to call back and set up a timeline for completion. He never returned any calls. We went into this contract knowing that he missed appointments and was hard to reach sometimes but we figured that we could work around it. I never expected to be cheated by HAYNES LANDSCAPE and that his word was no good. Do not use brett haynes landscape!! He is a little cheaper then the next guy for a reason. He does crap work and is a huge flake! He will not finish the job in the time frame you discuss and will have every excuse of why he didnt when you call him out! Thats even if you can get ahold of him! He likes to ignore you when he knows hes a lying flake!! Save your money and your time.. learn from my mistake.
