David and his “crew” started on our project on May 24, 2022. He informed me that the entire kitchen remodel and room build in our garage would take three weeks (maybe four). Let’s be clear…his “crew” consisted of one man who worked his tail off from 10-4 each day. I always assume that workdays are 8-5 with a break for lunch, but some companies don’t care. David’s “crew” got walls and electrical done in two weeks and then things took a downward turn. David ended up having some personal issues (not that he was ever on the job site) which made his communication almost completely stop. He didn’t respond to emails or text messages for days, and I even had to get my adult son to call him so he would answer the phone. In early July, he started asking me to send funds directly to his countertop vendor. I repeatedly asked where my money went, and he never gave a straight answer. No one showed up for 17 days with no other explanation other than “funding issues.” So, 11 weeks (July 29, 2022) in to a 3-week project I had paid him $33,000. When David does communicate, it’s usually to tell me that something came up or that the “crew” won’t be there. I feel like he has no sense of urgency or compassion for others and their situations. Where exactly did my $33,000.00 go? Finally, let’s not forget that Dominique Lynch (the woman that posted a review above) is his wife. And don’t come for me. I do have the estimate with my name on it and screenshots of every single text message. Do not use this company unless you have unlimited time, patience and extra funds. The project was finally completed on August 24, 2022…14 weeks after it started and 10 weeks over the allotted time frame.
