    make asphalt ramp, patch elsewhere

    I had hoped to make this a positive review. They asked me to write a review. Instead they did a good job with the ramp but thenleft tar on my white outside door that must have flown up when they were paying the ramp, they left a piece of wood about 3, 4 iinches high, 3 feet long on my neighbors yard that abuts the ramp and it is stuck there because ot is attached to tar. They told me they would do patching. The contract stated about 36 sq feet. The workmen told me that they were to do all the patching in the driveway. They did one pothole decently and one patch on the driveway that was very poorly done. I unfortunately gave them a full check rather then hold back monies until they came and did the clean up work. Work done on July 15, In reply to my email and pics of the problems they left behind they assured me they would come back "wednesday, thursday, or friday. Well its friday 6:30 pm and they were no show.
    (A member of the company came over on the 16th showed her the problems and she too assured me they would fix them, At that point I handed her the check for full amount. I thght of not doing it in full but she seemed sincere. That will teach me) I have other work that will need to be done at some point. The one thing I know for sure. H and D will not be getting that work. Once they got the check, the professioinalism and honesty (re fixing the issues that they promised owuld be done by today) went out the window
    (update it isnow Tuesday and they still have not come to clean up what they left. I saw 2 of their trucks drive past me yesterday coming from a direction that would have been about 3 blocks from my property. I assumed they had done the work since in the area but no.

    Awful experience. The value of the house has now dropped. We do not recommend. They did not finish the job, when they said they would. The cement has holes. The walls of the walkways are unstable. You can see the rocks from missing cement on the walls themselves. There are holes in the foundation as well. Safety is an issue. The owner refused to fix it and they went MIA after taking the money. The driveway was uneven. It was not properly sloped. Massive puddles form in the driveway that have become a safety issue. It is going to form a few feet of ice. Horrible mistake. The work diminished the value of the house. We spent thousands of dollars on contractors that proved to be lousy and who refused to fix their work. The other negative reviews were correct.

    I had a bad experience because of a terrible job was done. When I called to correct the problems, they gave me the runaround and never fixed it. They did this for 1 year because they know the limitations of responsibility. I do not recommend them because they aren't ethical.

    Seem to skimp on the work and amount of material they apply, unless you supervise them. They leave the area untidy, do not rope off sealed area when they depart.
    Most importantly, they attempt to charge more than the original price agreed upon when finished. They caused minor damage to property. Very unethical and unprofessional.
    They also told me to seal my driveway in 2 weeks, although Asphalt driveways should not be sealed until they are fully cured and hardened, which takes a minimum of 90 days.

    One of the worst driveway jobs I have ever seen!
    Despite being told several times to call 1 day in advance, they show up unannounced, and seem to skimp on the work and amount of material they apply, unless you supervise them.
    They left the area untidy, did not rope off sealed area when they departed.
    Most importantly, they attempt to charge more than the original price agreed upon when finished. They caused minor damage to property. Very unethical and unprofessional.
    They also told me to seal my driveway in 2 weeks, although Asphalt driveways should not be sealed until they are fully cured and hardened, which takes a minimum of 90 days.

    1 year warranty included??? I need repairs after 1 day!!
