Would not recommend HDC. Construction crew was great, tile guy was great, painter was terrible. When his shortcomings were pointed out to the GC, he defended his painter. We finally had to tell the painter not to come back, but the GC had already paid the painter in full, and then wanted me to pay his full fee as well, which we were not willing to do. Plumbing crew was substandard as well - I just finished repairing an upstairs toilet that was leaking and when I removed the toilet, the manner in which it had been re-installed was deplorable. I would steer clear of this contractor.
