sean is a pathological liar. His ego will not accept any input from you (the owner), he will cut EVERY corner to save himself nickel!!! He will NEVER admit nor acknowledge HIS mistakes!
I would not let sean build a house for my dog, even for free; I'd fear for my dog's safety! Besides, sean would abandon that project & blame the dog!
I have over 250 photos documenting how he entirely screwed up EVERY portion of my home remodel that he touched! It is tragic that we allowed him to be General Contractor at all! We were forced to fire him, after sean abandoned our house, in the middle of winter, while we were living in the basement, after he collected another $30,000 of our money. We were forced to get an attorney! We could not afford to hire a new General Contractor! literally EVERYTHING sean did, required follow up repairs in order to pass inspection! His first screw up was when he made his own forms for the addition, in the garage. They blew out. I asked him about it and he pretended like it was nothing. Should have fired him then, but we're honest & trusting people (and apparently easily taken advantage of). After we fired him, we paid over $700 for that mistake of his (alone) to be chiseled down by A-line concrete to match the rest of the garage foundation, then mortared.
Before demo started, he promised to build plywood around our kitchen cabinets to protect them. He promised to protect our existing hardwood floors. LOOK at the 10 photos I'm allowed to provide here: we were forced to demo side oak cabinets AND replace solid oak hardwood flooring due to this POS's incompetence!!! -

We're adding on by extending the master, adding an ensuite, and adding 10 feet at the other end of the house. We're also having a complete new roofline added, opening up the kitchen/LR. Sean has communicated so well and sees my vision. From day one, he came prepared with a portfolio to show his work. He's been doing this a long time and he's a pleasure to work with.

Good talker, Bad contractor, Took our money and spent it on other projects not ours, did not pay sub-contractors. Had to fire him and finish the project ourselves. Had to get Attorney involved. Not worth the headache.
