The heartland roof and gutter salesman came to our home and started his 'sales' pitch. He really didnt mention anything about the products or his crew. All he talked about was how he could get more money out of my insurance company. He didnt even know how much i've already got out of my insurance. He wanted to try to collect money from the insurance for damage that 'may' have been done elsewhere on the house and apply that money toward the roof. He kept talking about how if the insurance paid someone more than the job was worth than that would be a fraud. Yet he was doing the same by trying to collect money for other things that was not damage to the roof. When he actually 'looked' at the roof he was outside about 30 seconds. By far not enough time to take any measurements for the supposed errors he would find in an insurance adjusters measurements. When he came back in the house he wanted us to sign a contract that releases him to negotiate with our insurance And in effect gives him the job not telling what kind of damage he would do to our insurance reputation.
These people ARE CROOKS!!! Do not let them in your home!!!
